In the old days local people refered to this place as "the red chapel" because the political party that was ruling Cologne for decades meet here to make decisions before city council was informed. Today Stäv Köln certainly is a unique old town restaurant, decorated with framed pictures and memoribilia of Germany´s political history from 1945 till today. Great local and German cuisine, fresh Gaffel Kölsch beer and the very special flair guarantee a unique dining and drining experience in the hear of the old town on the banks of the river Rhine.
