For example: The STUTTCARD offers a 20% reduction on the two-and-a-half hour "Sightseeing Tour" that gives visitors a first impression of the city. Further afield, your discovery ticket guarantees among other things free admission to Schiller's birthplace.
In combination with a VVS 3-Day Ticket (City Centre or Regional Network), the STUTTCARD, apart from serving as identification, also allows you unlimited free travel on public transport in the city or the region.

Stuttgart Beer Festival
The "Wasen" rocks
Every year in the autumn Stuttgart goes wild. Millions of people come to the Cannstatter Wasen fairground annually to enjoy one of the world's biggest and best beer festivals. The atmosphere in the large, convivial beer tents is exuberant, to say the least. Locals and visitors from all corners of the globe sing and dance together. Breathtaking or nostalgic fairground rides, shooting galleries, candy stalls, to name but a few, attract young and old alike. A special highlight of the Cannstatt Beer Festival, which has been held around the ornately decorated fruit column ever since 1818, is the traditional festival procession.
