Stuttgart Airport

Stuttgart Airport, which is located only 13 km from the centre of the state capital, is an ideal starting point for visiting its finest attractions. 60 airlines fly from Stuttgart to some 120 destinations in 30 countries. The numerous awards that Stuttgart Airport has received for its architecture are proof that this is one of Europe's most beautiful airports. Short distances, ease of orientation and a personal, almost informal atmosphere with no rush and stress reflect the easy-going South German mentality.
Around 10 million passengers annually, a goods turnover of over 8 billion euros and more than 8500 employees underline the importance of the airport as a commercial enterprise and its vital significance for Baden-Württemberg's economy in particular.

The new, 4-star Mövenpick Hotel provides accommodation for customers with 326 rooms at its disposal. There is a direct link from the airport to the A8 Karlsruhe–Munich federal motorway. The S2 and S3 urban transport lines also provide a fast and direct rail connection to the main railway station (27 minutes).
